Why Apple Watch Is No Ordinary Watch?

It’s a health and fitness gadget, for one. And it’s also a communicator tool. You can connect directly with your friend, if he too has an Apple watch.

Apple CEO Tim Cook while unveiling the watch told an audience of journalists that the watch is entirely a new product and will redefine people expectations from its category.

The new squarish wearable watch will be available in two different sizes. And it will be similar to Pebble Steel, though more rounded. However, the interface being unique it will take some time for the users to be comfortable with. (It’s has different sort of interface that iOS users are not accustomed to.)

The side-situated “digital crown” can be used as a scroll wheel. Use to navigate up and down, or zoom in and out. Sometimes you need to swipe the screen. Then there is “force sensing screen” to register “force touches” or intentional press on the display … which happen to be different from “taps” and long presses somehow.

Starting at $349, the watch is pegged for April release. And yes, you will need your iphone to use it.

What all you can do with your Apple Watch:
