Yesterday, two major announcements made by Facebook: 1. The Company has over 2 million active Facebook advertisers and 2. It has launched a new “Ads Manager App” for iOS devices.
On 24th February 2015, Facebook released a Thank You Note to its over 2 million active advertisers. On the same day, the company introduced a new app to make the things easier for its growing number of advertisers.
Facebook understands the need of growing number of advertisers. It also understands the growing use of hand-held devices. That’s why to help its active advertisers and to meet the current demand of mobile users; Facebook launched an app called “Ads Manager App”.
In July 2014, Facebook introduced a tool named “Ads manager tool”. At that time, the company aimed to help advertisers in managing Facebook ads for iOS and Android apps. The tool includes advertisement campaign management, start, stop and restart campaign, making changes to bids and budgets, billing summary to see the entire payment history, and ad performance reports. Today, this tool is used by 800,000 advertisers.
Ads Manager Tool was released as a part of website. It means one can use the tool from desktop site to serve ads for apps. This time, Facebook introduced its new tool in the form of app which you can get from Apple App Store. Facebook advertisers are free to manage their ads via their iOS device. One can track ad performance, create, edit and update ads, edit ad budgets and schedules, and receive push notifications, via the exclusive Facebook’s Ads manage app.
In short, the app allows advertisers to manage their ad campaign on the go. At the moment, the app is limited to US only, but in few weeks, it will be available worldwide. Also, the app is available for iOS only, but the company is working on its Android version which may release in coming months of this year.
