Bolstered by its record – breaking run for the fifth consecutive session, which closed at $127.83, Apple Inc. has released a new report about its watch. And as per the new report, Apple watch’s earlier reported features are all a hogwash.
The previous report mentioned the watch would feature blood pressure and stress level tracking apps and also an app that would monitor user’s heart activity. However, according to online sources, the company is reportedly backtracking on its promises. As in most of the information released so far has been an exaggeration, and only some features will make it to the final product because of various complications.
Sources report that some of the features that Apple proudly flaunted around was far more complicated that what was initially anticipated. In fact, the company has been testing sensors for sometime to measure the skin conductivity, which would, in turn, help measure a person’s heart rate and stress levels. But the idea was discarded since inconsistencies were found in the readings of those with hairy hands or dry skin. Even the blood pressure feature wouldn’t probably make it for similar reasons. And, if at all, Apple gets to embed these amazing features into the app, it won’t be possible until a prior approval from Food and Drug Administration is sort.
Although Apple seems to have tone down on its opinion about Apple Watch, it will stick to its release date in April. And there’s no denying that it will make a dent in the wearable market. In fact, Apple reportedly has asked its suppliers to manufacture around six million smartwatches for the first quarter. This will help the electronic giant to take on big names such as Sony, Samsung, LG, Microsoft and others, head on, in the smartwatch category.
