Google rolled out its new App approval process with some changes meeting with quality standards.
Finally, Google has strengthened and tightened its freewheeling Play store with its recently betrayed new app approval process. There are mainly three noticeably changes. First, Google has hired an expert team to screen new apps, especially to take care of malware, erotic content or anything that runs out of Google Play Store rules. Second, Google has announced a global age-based rating system. And third, it will take a few hours only to undergo an app for approval process.
Google’s app approval process will start with automated tools handled by a team of human experts. The tools will go through the app to check out the presence of malware, spyware, erotic content, and copyright violations. After that the apps will handed over to an expert team for further analysis. Once the team confirm that everything is fine as per the Google Play Store policies, the app finally meets with approval. It seems the long process, but Google assures that it will not take more than a few hours. At least, you don’t need to wait for days or weeks.
Next is new age-based rating system. According to this system, developers have to answer some questionnaires based on which their apps will be rated covering advice whether these apps are for Everyone, for Adults or for Teens. Google aims to help developers to label their apps for right audience.
Google’s play store changing policies are the signs of growing importance of apps and their crucial role in humans’ life.
