Apple Watch Edition Buyers To Be Offered Special Treatment

According to the latest reports in 9to5Mac, buyers of Apple Watch Edition will be given special treatment, considering these buyers will be forking out $10,000 and up for the special edition watches. That’s mucho dinero for an item that might go archaic in a couple of year’s time.

As part of the special treatment, the Edition buyers will have access to special Edition phone support line, which will be available 24/7 for two years. And this service can be extended for one more year with AppleCare +. The service is not unprecedented in the tech world – Vertu has been offering similar service for its niche phone buyers.

Initially, the Edition version will be launched only in the largest markets where the company is operational. And the around-the-clock service will be available only in English during the initial phase.

Plus, the Apple Watch Edition buyers would have the luxury of time to try the watches. As in, the buyers have one hour at their disposal to try different versions of the expensive watch and there would be an expert to help as well. Conversely, ordinary watch buyers will have only fifteen minutes on table in retail store.

However, try-on-table won’t be available at all Apple Stores. In such stores, the company will have try-on-cases with device inside them. While the stainless steel Apple Watch buyers will have to depend on virtual help to set up the gadget, the Apple Watch sport customers won’t have access to any sort of perk.

Apple Watch will hit the stores on April 26.
