Apple’s New Thinner and Lighter MacBook In Town

Apple launched its new MacBook with 12-inch screen that’s thinner and lighter than any current MacBook Air.

The new MacBook is backed by several new technologies. As in, it’s the first laptop to feature a new connector port called the USB-C. The trackpad, referred to as the Force Touch, detects pressure, which enables new gestures and controls. Speaking about the trackpad at Apple’s media event on Monday, Apple’s Vice President Philip Schiller, informed that while the user is fast-forwarding the video, the harder they press on the trackpad the faster the process will be.

Added to that, Apple has also cut down the size of its logic board. Further, the new MacBook has created additional room for batteries. So, the new laptop will have 9 hours of battery life meant for wireless web browsing and 10 hours for movie playback.

Wait, there’s more… the new MacBook will come in gold and “space gray colors.” There will be faster processors as well.

The new MacBook will be reportedly shipped from April 10 onwards. The base price is $1,300 while high-end versions will be priced at $1,600.
